It’s a gesture of goodwill, that builds relationships among family and friends. 2019 is the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Pig - the animal that represents luck, good fortune, wealth, honesty and general prosperity. Its iconic design style merges Chinese festive elements with both abstract and figurative geometric shapes and bold colours inspired by the Nordic landscape and the fantastic designs of plant stems, petals, shells and snowflakes that are found in nature.

The design of the book also well conformed to the creator’s intention- “simply a presentation”. The whole book is divided into eight chapters:: location, market, signs, stalls, oral accounts, goods, price and vendors according to the elements of a local market. The idea is to minimize the design and restore the scene of the marketplace by every independent chapter.

Continue readingWithin the scope of a pro-bono project a new look for KPNN, a network for palliative care of terminally ill children, was created. The logo acts as a visual platform for the developed iconography concept. The symbolic imagery manages to communicate the sensitive content of this topic in a subtle, focused manner. Every now and then, one of the numerous illustrations depicts a ship, which serves as a stylistic device representing the transition between life and death. The simple, stylized illustrations manage to achieve a high level of visual distinctiveness which were used on the new website.

Maldonado’s population needs to see the logo as the symbol that represents their small town, and be related to it. The logo demonstrates a new, fresh and friendly brand, joining the culture, the environment of the place and its city name initial as a essencial referent element.
