The Seeds Of Faith

The Seeds of Faith is a university admission letter set created for Beijing Forestry University. The set includes an admission letter, a notebook and an enrollment guide. Four versions of the letter show stages of plant growth: breeding, germinating, growing and flourishing. The letter is dark green and carries silver and golden dots that represent seeds. Fck 2020

Fck 2020 is a table calendar for the year 2021. The calendar is produced as a leporello, a long sheet folded into twelve panels. Printing is digital on 240 gram white paper. The folded size is 169 by 240 millimetres.

Madame Butterfly

Madame Butterfly is a series of opera posters. Each poster shows an iconic portrait of a singing woman as the central figure of the opera plot and a symbol of passion. The series covers operas such as Madame Butterfly, Tosca and Norma, and reflects the tragic and dependent role of women in their librettos. Every composition presents the final scene, the culmination of the story. The design draws on minimal shapes, expressive painting and the Memphis style, with open colors and strong contrast. The posters are printed in A1 size on carton paper.

Designers Brasileiros

The brand of the website Designers Brasileiros consists of a panel in the shape of the letter D composed by geometric pieces that fit together and represent the design specialties. The toucan was defined by the fact that it is one of the largest seed dispersers of Brazilian fauna and one of those responsible for the formation of tropical forests. Thus, for the brand, the dispersion of seeds by the toucan conceptually symbolizes the dissemination of knowledge that is the purpose of the website.

Who's That Eating

This interactive pop-up book follows seven animals enjoying their favorite snacks, each with a 3D pop up fold showcasing their distinct eating style. Each pop up was designed with a single page cut out, and a second backing page revealing the inside of each mouth and adding structural integrity. This simple design, combined with paper collage illustrations, brings life to each animal. The text includes eating sounds via Japanese onomatopoeia, encouraging the reader to open and close the pages as the animals munch away.
